Introduction

System: Mörk Borg

Adittional Material used: Sölitary Defilement, Sölitary Depths, Feretory, Portents and Curses, Cities of a Dying land, Maze Rats (i just love the character creation tables to add flavour to the characters), Fugitve Knight

I'll play a campaign, hopefully until the world ends, i'll start with a d12 and i'll reduce the dice each time a misery is revealed. I decided to create two characters, one will be a Heretical Priest while the other will be a Fugitive Knight. I created both with the standard rules except for two changes: they both get max hp and omens and i substituted the table of broken bodies with a couple of tables from maze rats.

After creating both characters i rolled on the core book t know where our protagonists are at and to see what event will launch the campaign. I got that they were in the wilds of Tveland when a soldier approached them asking them to destroy a valuable artefact. I choose said artefact from the list of reliqs on Feretory.

Day 0

Misery roll (1d12): 2.
Weather roll: 2 Hammering Rain.

It was a rainy day on the forest of Sarkash, Eldar was leading the hunt, while Gotven was a few feets behind, whistling softly, as he often did when they were trying to make little sound. Eldar was specially annoyed about it that day, it was distracting her. And that's why the moaning soldier caught her by surprise.

When that soldier noticed her, he said "Please... You have to help... You have to destroy it..." The soldier coughed while crawling thowards her. She could see that the soldier's knees where bloody and broken.

"Please find the crown of burning stars... and destroy it..." With their last breath, the knight fell to the ground dead.

"Well, that was something for sure" said Gotven that had closed up while the knight spoke "Let's see what this fella got on them..."

Gotven got on his knees and started to search the still warm corpse.

Loot roll: 42, unmarked bottle with a liquid that shifts between red and green.

Gotven showed the bottle with the strange liquid to Eldar. "Well, what do you think, Priest? Maybe you have some idea of what this could be?"

"I'll look at it later, just store it in you cart, will you?" answered her, wanting to resume their hunt. And resume the hunt they did.

Savaging roll: 3, 6 rations foraged.

They spent the rest of the day searching for a beast to slay, picking up the berries and comestible plants that they found while searching. They didn't end up finding meat but they got plenty of food regardless. Gotven started to put up his tent while Eldar examined the strange bottle that knight had without success, she will need more time to study it and maybe some equipment.

Camping event roll: 6, a wild beast tries to steal some rations (Result: 1), presence test to notice (Result: 4)

Day 1

Misery roll (1d12): 3.
Weather roll: 12 Gravelike cold.

Eldar and Gotven woke up well rested and collected their equipment before starting their long journey to Galgenbeck, it will be a long journey but they wanted some info on that relic and the thought that the cathedral's libraries would be a good place to start, if the could even enter, that's it.

Road roll: Paved road.

The road was good and was guarded, so good in fact that they traveled all morning without any problems, until they arrived at a village called Serpent's Heart while some chanting could be heard in there. They decided to enter and see where the noise was coming from.

In the middle of the village they could see a giant skull whose inside was full of merchants selling their products, and in front of said market a group of priests wearing intricated purple robes were chanting around a monolith.

"We should buy whatever we need and get out of here, that people give me the creeps." said Gotven.

"Are you scared by some simple ritual?" asked Eldar.

"It's not that... just don't like it..."

After browsing the market, both purchased some more food, not seeing anything more that was worthwhile and leave the village to rest at the entrance and not be around that ritual.
